Grasslyn Park/Oakmont Fire Company Fourth of July Fun!

A fun day will start at 11:00 am as decorated bikes, trikes, strollers, wagons, etc. sign in at the Oakmont Fire Company building. The parade will start around 11:30 am and end shortly at Grasslyn Park. Prizes will be awarded to winners in various categories.

A barbeque with free hot dogs and sodas will be available for all who attend. Games will be played with prizes for winners.

Westgate Hills Civic Association July Fourth Celebration

The parade will begin at 10:30 am at the entrance to Westgate Park (intersection of Oxford Hill and Rose Tree). The parade will loop around through the neighborhood and end at the rear entrance to the park. Decorate your bikes, wagons, strollers, floats and come on down! First, second and third place prizes will be awarded in each age group.

A picnic will follow the parade in the lower park. A cost of $5.00 per person will include a hot dog and beverage and the moon bounce. "Proof of purchase" will be a special wrist band and these will be sold before the parade as well as in afterward in the park.

Practice your skills for the field games that will take place in the park!!

Makin' Music will perform at 12:30 for the enjoyment of all! Join in the fun!!

Penfield Civic Association Fourth of July Celebration

Friday, July 4th

A parade will start at 9:30 am at the corner of Cumberland and Canterbury Roads, circle around and end at Grange Park. Decorate your bikes, trikes, wagons, strollers, skate boards or anything with wheels and join in the fun!! Prizes will be given to all participants.

At 10:00 am, the park festivities will commence with a flag raising. There will be a moon bounce, face painting, spin art and lots of fun for all.

A fee of $20 per family includes your annual membership to Penfield Civic Association and 15 tickets to "pay" for food (a food truck will be on site) and the moon bounce. Additional tickets are available at the park for 25 cents each.

South Ardmore Betterment Alliance Fourth of July Celebration

SABA Fourth of July Celebration

The traditional event will be held on the 4th of July, beginning at 11:00 am with a patriotic decorated bike, scooter, and wagon parade from Chestnutwold School to Elwell Park.

Music, activities, field athletic events, and food will follow until 2:30 pm at Elwell Park as has occurred for as long as most of us can remember. We hope to see you there! Volunteers are always needed. Further updates will be posted here or on the website: .

Merwood Civic Association Fourth of July Celebration

The fun begins with the men's softball game in the park, starting at 6:00pm followed at 7:30 by a neighborhood party at the Gavin's (330 Cherry Lane). Please bring your favorite hors d'oeuvre. Movies will be shown next door at the Sander's (328 Cherry Lane) starting at 7:30 with a movie suitable for the younger kids and a teenage-appropriate showing starting at 9pm.

9:30 am - Parade begins forming behind Oakmont School
10:00 am - Parade begins promptly*
10:30 am - Official welcome at Merwood Park
10:45 am - Field games begin in the park (races, water balloon toss, egg toss)
12:00 noon - Lunch is served (seniors first!)
Please bring your own chairs, picnic blanket, etc.
After lunch: Pony rides, face painting, water ice, awards given out

Independence Day Parade and Picnic Friday, July 4, 2008

Parade starts 10:30 am at Deer & Clemson and goes to Coopertown School.

Picnic begins at 10:45 am at Coopertown Playground.

Grab some red, white and blue and decorate your bike, scooter, wagon, stroller – anything with wheels – and join in the fun! Of course, you can decorate yourself as well.

The CCA picnic will begin at the conclusion of the parade with races, games, crafts, food, beverages, raffles, face painting and live music.
